Our guiding principles:
People help themselves when they have access to essential resources – knowledge, skills, economic and educational resources – to help build stronger, resilient communities.
- Immigrants are what make the United States what it is: a beacon of hope.
- Diversity and inclusion are elements of any resilient and capable community.
- Meaningful change and problem-solving requires collaboration.
What We Do
— We Motivate
To contribute to positive, multi-generational shifts that lead to resilient, empowered communities, we focus on teaching advance techniques and proper food safety measures to the under-represented farming operations.
— We Elevate
We foster sustainable, resilient communities that build on their own success. Our programs are established on the strengths of each community member and these unique strengths pave the way for a stronger community, together.
— We Transform
Through collaborative, community-led initiatives, we connect people with resources to help them grow. We provide assistance to help people connect to educational resources including vocational schools, job interview preparation, technical certificates, and English language programs.
we help Under-privileged communities
As immigrants to the United States, we understand what families leaving their home countries to find a better life here in the U.S. might need – the same things that you and I need: nutritious food, clean water, safe and reliable shelter, access to affordable healthcare and education, and a reliable means to earn a living.
ZEF works with local, state, and federal agencies and NGOs to provide immigrants and refugees with the resources they need to get started on the right foot.
Specifically, we help families:
Find sponsors
Find affordable and safe housing
Help enroll children in schools
Help adults enroll in ESL courses and vocational schools
Help with job placement and training
Help with transportation
Help raise funds to support these activities
HOME
Find affordable and safe housing
These families are fleeing their home countries for their lives, praying for their safety and desperately seeking refuge. If you’re like us, you believe that everyone deserves a place to call ‘home
Education
Educate the Children
Youth education is ZEF’s driving passion and we’ve created Big World, Little Om – an initiative set out to celebrate family diversity through a mindfully developed curriculum focused on Social Emotional Learning. Through this initiative, we aim to unify communities and showcase the unique talents and potential that each child holds.
Food
Healthy Food for the refugees
There are still 3 billion people living in poverty. We are trying to ensure that every person on earth sleeps with a good meal. We won’t stop until we get there.
health
Affordable health care
We hear war breaking throughout the World. We are there to cure those injured. War is something that should be never happened but it does and it’s our responsibility to cure.
Training
We provide adult education resources
Access to clean water means education, income and health – especially for women and kids. Access to clean water gives communities more time to grow food, earn an income, and go to school all of which fight poverty.
VOLUNTEER
We rely on People
Helping other is humanity. We can’t make it without helps from people. We are thankful to them for volunteering and giving donations. We are only able to provide help from it.
